Cellar West is an award-winning, small-batch brewery founded by Zach Nichols in late 2016. We opened our small business with a love for brewing and a commitment to making Boulder County a better place to live. We're known for handcrafted & world-class beer, honest to goodness folks with story to tell, and our friendly & laid-back space perfect for enjoying a great ale or lager.

For years our Lafayette brewery, pub, and patio have been a beer-centric reprieve for locals and Colorado visitors alike. With a friendly and educated staff here seven days a week, we pour fresh ale & lager, all brewed onsite in small batches, along with an extensive list of gluten-free beer, non alcoholic beverages, and other elixirs from like-minded makers. Our award winning beer pairs wonderfully with some of Boulder County's best scratch-made eats from our partner kitchen, Cosmic Coyote Cook Shanty, who are open and serving whenever we are.

Ale & Lagers
What began with a small lineup of oak aged, wild Farmhouse Ales has matured into a catalogue including clean, rustic lagers, timeless American pale ales & IPA, and the occasional British inspired pub ale - each award winning & distinct in their own right. We draw influence from beermakers before us, and inspiration from the raw materials around us. Cemented as one of Colorado's most acclaimed brewers, the Cellar West team "produces a line of beers that are both invigorating and inventive."
